During the year 2012 on13th April in Two locations i.e., Poornakumbham and Leelamahal circle installed 8 Cams on Pilot Projectlaunched by M/s Fortuner Technologist of Erode, T.N. and given technology support and maintenance to the project.
On 25.12.2012 the then DGP Sri. Dinesh Reddy IPS Inaugurated CC Cameras Control Room in Traffic Police Station Tirupati with 100 CC Cameras in 34 Locations.
On 26.12.2014 the then DGP JV Ramudu IPS Inaugurated new Command Control Center on east Police Station Tirupati with 166 IP Cams and 34 PTZ Cameras through MOPF - (Modernization of Police Forces) Funds.
During month of March, 2017 Krishna Pushkaram Cameras 268 (2MP Static 178, 2MP PTZ 90) were allotted to Tirupati Urban District for reinstallation by DRS Network Pvt. Ltd.
During month of March, 2017 A.P. Surveillance Cloud Project are connected with RTGSprojectmaintained by M/s Matrix Solution Pvt Ltd., came to Tirupati Urban District with 852 Cameras contains (33 - RLVD Cams, 250 - ANPR Cams, 103 FRS Cams, 58 VA Cams, 200 General Surveillance cams and 208 PTZ Cams).
Additional Command Control for RTGS Project was proposed at New Tiruchanur PS Building or New Cyber Lab Building near Raitu Bazar.
There is one proposal as the present existing Command Control is merged with RTGS Project for getting good results and it will better control over the CCTV from one Unique center.
At present Tirupati Command Control connected in 231 static cameras and 41 PTZ Cameras with 60 locations and there is a need for developing special skilled Technical PCs with a team for look after Technical problems in this Project due to the M/s Fortuner Technologist Agreement period is over nearly 2 years. And it is requested Budget for maintenance. Splicing Machines needed for repairs of fiber cables.
Totally visible policing is monitoring by Command Control System. L&O and Traffic Issues also alerting by the staff to vehicular Police Patrolling parties.
Besides the above Command Control Staff is maintaining the FINS (Finger Print Identification Network System), LHMS (Locked House Monitoring System), eTrack (GPS System) Web Application, SheBot Web Application, Tirupati Police WhatsApp number: 80999 99977, Tirupati Police FB & Mahila Rakshak Pages, YouTube Channel applications.
Srikalahasti have one dedicated Command Control for watching 44 Cameras with 20 locations as well as TiumalaCommand Control having 61 fixed cams and 03 PTZ cams with 26 locations.
1Civil Inspector, 3 Civil SIs, 3 HCs and 6 PCs working round the clock in shifts. The PCR is equipped with 2 VHF sets, 1 land phone for quick communication and the main roll of the PCR is to monitor and coordinate movements of Blue colts, Rakshak and High way Patrolling vehicles to respond to any calls from Public for assistance. 4 PCs are working round the clock in dial-100 call centre. Dial-100 is a help line for all emergencies for the public. Staff will coordinate police stations and other departments like ICDS, Welfare with public who seek help to respond immediately to rescue and help. All Police Officers in the District including Traffic police are imposing fines on traffic violators by using evidence camera, MPD (Multi-Purpose Device) machine without stopping or causing minimum inconvenience to public and vehicular traffic with minimum human interface. E- Challans will be sent to the traffic violators through post with a demand to pay their respective fine at mee-seva/AP online centers or through internet within 15 days.
